Kehillat Bet Hamidrash Synagogue (Kempsville Conservative Synagogue), affectionately known as KBH, is a member congregation of the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism. Located in the Kempsville section of Virginia Beach, it is centrally located in the Tidewater area. Traditional yet egalitarian in its approach to Judaism, weekly Shabbat services are warm and welcoming.

Members take an active part in all facets of the synagogue, from leading services to daily operation. The synagogue looks forward to the  innovative programming with the Tidewater area’s Masorti synagogues to further enhance educational and spiritual opportunities for all four congregations.
